My favorite department store in all of Paris is easily Le Bon Marché. When my husband first brought me there, he was giddy because he knew how much I’d love it. We walked inside, and I nearly burst into tears, overwhelmed by the beautiful displays. From the gorgeous arrangements to the well-designed catalogs, I have always been in awe of the store’s impeccable decor, attention to detail, and tasteful aesthetics. The Marché is almost entirely stocked with things you can find in the States, but it is just displayed so much better!
It’s my third holiday season in a row stopping by and the store was just as beautiful as I remembered it. The only thing is…it’s really expensive! Each item I considered, from a scarf to a jacket, hovered around 1,200 euros – so let’s be honest, I resigned myself to looking only this time. But with all the displays and colors in the store, Jon and I decided to play around, and shoot some portraits in different scenes around the place.
Below are some of our experiments!
So there you have it – even if you can’t afford to shop there, you can at least use Le Bon Marché as a backdrop to some fun photos!
