I don’t think I ever remember having Fourth of July land on a Wednesday. Or maybe that’s because when it last did, I had the youthful luxury of not paying attention to the days of the week. This year I’m not feeling all that patriotic (well, duh, given the awfulness in the news), however, I am seeing it as an opportunity to have a few quiet days and catch up on my life outside of She’s So Bright. I love writing for this blog, but sometimes I’m so busy making the daily posts, that I can’t get ahead to the more substantial post ideas I have for down the road. So, as it’s smack in the middle of these sweltering first moments of July, I’ve decided to take a few days off to unwind, prep for some travel, and refocus on my plans for future content. I hope you also take a few days off because it’s absolutely necessary in this stifling weather that you indulge in a little bit of laziness too!
