I’m definitely a bit of a Chanel fan girl. There’s always a lot of hype around their products, some of which are overly expensive and impractical, but I truly love their design aesthetic. (Okay, fine, and their makeup and handbags too). In particular, I find their graphic design an ace in the hole. Each season, as Chanel delivers a new line, their signature tweeds and C’s are transformed with colors and themes, while maintaining a look consistent with their brand. They’ve really got that “reinventing oneself” thing down.

The company’s recent email campaign featured illustrations of their Cuban inspired cruise line accessories and was so beautiful that I had to share. By the way, each drawing is of an actual product.

How fun are they? Wouldn’t it be great to be able to draw like that, with what I think are high quality design markers (like Copic).  And soon, before you know it, this campaign will be long forgotten and Karl will be onto the next colorful reinvention.
